Time to Ring In the New Year!

About a week ago, Sean drooled all over my old Razr phone and shorted out the screen. So I couldn't read any text messages, see any missed calls, etc. Well, tonight I finally got a new phone, so please call me and leave a voicemail or send me an e-mail with your cell phone, work numbers, etc.

While Daddy was feeding Sean his dinner, he got the hiccups. Sean just thought it was the most hilarious thing he'd ever seen. I absolutely love his belly laugh.

A Visit From Tio Jeff

Sean and I were getting some Christmas shopping done when he had to try out this cute little chair. We went very early in the morning to avoid most of the crowds, and we're almost done. We got Daddy's present too, but it's a secret!

Busy Little Birdwell

It's amazing to watch and see how much Sean has changed over the months. Even how he plays with his toys is different. He's doing much better sitting up by himself and I read in our baby book that this is the precursor to crawling. Watch out!

80's Parents

Listening to Matthew this morning put a big smile on my face. He gave Sean his breathing treatment and it takes 10 minutes so we have to sing to him to keep his attention off the medicine. Guess what Daddy was singing? Come on Feel the Noise by Quiet Riot and You Give Love a Bad Name by Bon Jovi. Yeah, we're 80's parents. It's so weird to think that these will be the "classics" that Sean will say his parents sang to him as a child.

Went back to the pediatrician today. Sean is slowly getting better which is the nature of RSV. Still congested, some rattling in his chest, and little to no appetite for cereal/solid foods. The doc expects it will take a few more weeks before Sean's back to 100% healthy. At least, Sean doesn't seem to be too bothered except for the congestion and nasal suction. He measured 26-1/4 inches long. We'll have to wait until he's better before he gets his immunizations.
