Jack at The Children's Museum
I took Jack to The Children's Museum so he could have some fun at their Tot Spot. The whole museum is completely remodeled and it's really great! Jack had lots of fun checking everything out. We stayed for over an hour and he was very upset when I picked him up to leave. Thinking we may have to invest in another family membership.

The Aquarium at Moody Gardens
Grandma & Grandpa came down for a day trip with my nephew Thomas. We all went to the Aquarium at Moody Gardens. Sean had fun and Grandma was telling me about his imitation of a swimming penguin: lying on his stomach on the floor with his arms at his sides and wiggling. Wish I had caught it on camera!

A Thursday With Momma

I've been working a lot (so it feels), and Sean has been missing me. So I decided that we would spend thursday together. We went to the Children's Museum where we hadn't been in ages and then had lunch with Daddy. In this video, Sean walks down the ramp very gingerly because of the decline which he's not used to.

Adventures at The Children's Museum
Looking at these pictures now, I just realized that Sean was trying to peel the bananas!

The Cockrell Butterfly Center
We took Sean since we thought he'd enjoy it. He looked around a lot and squealed when a butterfly almost landed on Matthew. We'll definitely take him back when he gets a little older.
Can you believe this is located in the middle of Houston? The Center has the educational-museum-exhibit part and then there's this rainforest habitat where all the butterflies fly around. It's quite hot and humid: about 80 degrees and 80% humidity. And of course, here are the butterflies...

The Children's Museum
A friend told me about The Children's Museum. They have an infant/toddler room with lots of toys and things to play with but safe for infants and toddlers. Since Sean loves to crawl everywhere now, I figured he could enjoy it and work off some of his energy.
So much to see!
Sean liked the little black screws that held the mirrors in place rather than the mirrors themselves.

I had to work very hard to keep all those toys out of Sean's mouth. Thankfully, the museum has a "clean toys" bag and a "dirty toys" bag. So after a baby slobbers all over a toy you can put it in the dirty bag and the staff will clean them.
